CustomerLink Systems Announces Jim Bonfield Will Serve as New Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Development

CustomerLink Systems announced that Jim Bonfield has been promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of Business Planning and Development. In this role, Bonfield will oversee the sales and marketing divisions at CustomerLink as well as lead business development responsibilities, which include defining growth and product development strategies for CustomerLink and expanding the company’s Segment Marketing Research Technology (smrt™), referred to as “smrt Marketing.”

Technology, communication and marketing have been the core of Bonfield’s career for years, starting with the creation of his first Internet-based business, The Online Movie Club, an events and social networking site purchased by McClatchy Newspapers in 1996. Two years later, he would serve as McClatchy’s only Online Business Development Manager at The Sacramento Bee. Since that time he has served in various executive and development roles at a number of marketing companies and advertising agencies and developed major accounts like Downtown Disney, Pebble Beach and California’s Travel and Tourism Bureau.
